 It has four electric motors\, four-wheel suspension\, and can be controlle
 d by either handlebars or by joystick to fit the hiker’s needs. It is a ro
 ck crawler with 10 inches off ground clearance. Maximum speed is 4 mph. Th
 e side rails raise so you can transfer in to the rotating seat from either
  side.  \n\nOur TerrainHoppers are considered mobility devices on this tra
 il that does not allow motorized vehicles\, and so we need to respect that
  special allowance and other trail users. \n​\nYou must be able to transfe
 r into and out of the TerrainHopper. Bring your trusted transfer help. We 
 have a motorized chair lift and a Hoyer lift to assist with transfer heigh
 t differences from your wheelchair to the TerrainHopper. \n\nLocation: (St
 ate Route 160/Pahrump Valley Highway\, Las Vegas\, NV 89123)\nTravel 15 mi
 les west on State Route 160 from its intersection with I-15/Las Vegas Free
 way to reach the parking area.\n\nFree registration required.  When you ar
 e registering for this event\, the only person who needs a ticket is the o
 ne riding the TerrainHopper.    Please give us information on your family 
 and friends who are accompanying you\, but they do not need a ticket.\n\n

 return to the parking lot by 3:00 to get you back into your wheelchairs.
